I find ReadTheWords.com to be one of the most useful services on the Internet today. Many LD (learning disabled) students struggle with auditory processing. They tend to test lower on standardized tests due to the fact that the subject matter, test questions, etc, is written down for the student to read. While these students are very capable, they tend to favor auditory processing, versus the more common visual processing. It is important that these students learn how their mind works and modify their learning techniques accordingly. Simple techniques like repeating what you read have worked with my students in the past.
